This resource is enough to cover 8-9 lessons of introducing silent cinema to A Level Film Studies students, through PowerPoints, research tasks and worksheets. This also includes revision PowerPoints to be used before exams. The content in this pack focuses on Buster Keaton’s shorts, but also has lots of contextual information about silent cinema as a whole. This pack is tailored for the Eduqas/WJEC specification. This also includes 3 revision lessons which recycles some of the content/can be used as recap slides.

This is a 7-8 lesson unit for Pan’s Labyrinth at A Level. This includes powerpoints and a couple of handouts, and a link to a Kahoot. This unit is in line with the Eduqas/WJEC exam board. For these PPT designs to format correctly, I recommend downloading the free font ‘Mountains of Christmas’.

This is a new resource I have created for the new Eduqas specification for component 2 section D: experimental film. This pack includes a mini scheme of work with brief lesson plans included, 5 powerpoints and various resources to assist. I apologise if the powerpoint layouts are askew - I use the font ‘Mountains of Christmas’ for my headings which you can download for free from any font website.

Moonlight A Level Film Resource Pack (Eduqas)

Here is a resource pack for Moonlight, based on the new listings for the Eduqas specification. There are PPTs filled with activities, contexts, etc., and some paper-based resources but can easily be made digital to save paper, up to you. Focuses are on ideology, spectatorship and film form - using theory from Eduqas recommendations. (For me, I teach La La Land alongside so if there is content missing e.g. spectatorship and ideology, it will be in the LLL pack also in my shop)
